This is our online site for our Erasmus+ KA229 project. Its main objective is to exchange good practices among six European countries in matters of pupils' security and privacy on the Internet.
El 30 de enero comenzamos nuestra primera sesión con las actividades para familias del Foro Nativos Digitales. En la primera parte de la sesión explicamos las principales características del programa.
Este año nuestro programa se va a trabajar desde nuestro Proyecto Erasmus "Cybersecurity Schools" al ser uno de los objetivos del mismo concienciar sobre la seguridad y protección en línea. Con este espacio se nos brinda una excelente oportunidad de difundir y dar a conocer nuestro proyecto a todas nuestras comunidades educativas.
En la última parte hablamos de las tecnologías y conocimos la campaña #PuedesPararlo como canal prioritario de la Agencia Española de Protección de Datos para denunciar fotografías, vídeos o audios de contenido sexual o violento. Como actividad práctica nos hicimos este selfie para unirnos a la campaña en Instagram.
Finalmente analizamos los riesgos de tener activada en nuestros dispositivos la geolocalización. Conocimos que es EXIF en una foto y cómo quitarlo para cuidar nuestra privacidad y la de nuestros menores. En este enlace se puede consultar nuestra presentación.
Our 6th grade students visited the National Museum of Roman Art in Merida. The visit focused on Dionysus, God of fertility and wine.

This workshop was significant for our project because it related Greek mythology with the importance of the senses from antiquity to our times with the important presence of technologies.

Charo and Guadalupe (volunteers from the Museum) were the monitors who gave the workshop. They explained to us that Dionysus means born twice, also known as the God of second chances. If we make a mistake, it indicates that we have the opportunity to change.

Dionysus is raised in a paradise full of flowers and when he turns 15 he is named God of Wine.

Dionysus is also considered the God of the theater. They explained to us that in ancient times actors were called masks and in their representations they went out with the masks to represent different characters. In order to understand this concept, the monitors carried out a dynamic where our students learned that the "emojis" that we use nowadays in our communications are an evolution of the masks of the antiquity. To do this, students had to relate Roman emoticons with the current ones.

The second activity was done in small groups. They were given a poster board containing examples of WhatsApp conversations. The students had to identify each of the dialogues with an "emoji mask".

The third and last activity was held in the classroom and consisted of group reflection on the importance of the senses throughout history: Are they more important then or now? The activity began in the museum with the story that Charo told us about Dionysus and the 5 senses.
"Dionysus invites the 5 senses to a banquet and one of them, the ear, sits apart because he felt that everyone had a very important role in the celebration except him. Bacchus realized this and gave him a fundamental role in creating the toast. Since then there is no celebration without the sense of hearing".

When we do not have technologies we have to sharpen the senses more.

Nuestro alumnado de 6º realizó una visita al Museo Nacional de Arte Romano en Mérida. La visita se centró en Dioniso, Dios de la fertilidad y el vino.

Este taller fue significativo para nuestro proyecto porque relacionó la mitología griega con la importancia de los sentidos desde la antigüedad hasta nuestros tiempos con la importante presencia de las tecnologías.

Charo y Guadalupe (voluntarias del Museo) fueron las monitoras que impartieron el taller. Nos explicaron que Dioniso significa nacido dos veces, conocido también como Dios de las segundas oportunidades. Si cometemos un error nos indica que tenemos la oportunidad de cambiar.

Dioniso se cría en un paraíso lleno de flores y cuando cumple la edad de 15 años es nombrado Dios del Vino.

Dioniso es considerado también Dios del teatro. Nos explicaron que en la antigüedad a los actores se les llamaba máscaras y en sus representaciones salían con las máscaras para representar distintos personajes. Para comprender este concepto las monitoras realizaron una dinámica donde nuestros alumnos aprendieron que los "emojis" que utilizamos en la actualidad en nuestras comunicaciones son una evolución de las máscaras de la antigüedad. Para ello, los alumnos tuvieron que relacionar emoticonos romanos con los actuales.

La segunda actividad la hicieron en pequeños grupos. Se les entregó una cartulina que contenía ejemplos de conversaciones de WhatsApp. Los alumnos tenían que identificar cada uno de los diálogos con un "emoji máscara".

La tercera y última actividad se realizó en el aula y consistió en la reflexión grupal sobre la importancia de los sentidos a lo largo de la historia: ¿Son más importantes antes o ahora? La actividad comenzó en el museo con el cuento que nos contó Charo sobre Dioniso y los 5 sentidos.
Dioniso invita a los 5 sentidos a un banquete y uno de ellos, el oído, se sienta aparte porque sentía que todos tenían un papel muy importante en la celebración menos él. Baco se percató de ello y le otorgó un papel fundamental creando el brindis. Desde entonces no hay celebración sin el sentido del oído.

Cuando faltan algunos de los sentidos las tecnologías son una ayuda y apoyo importante.
Cuando no contamos con tecnologías tenemos que agudizar más los sentidos.
Las tecnologías nos pueden ayudar a resolver las dudas de objetos que veamos y no conozcamos.
Las tecnologías pueden hacer que nuestros sentidos se distraigan.

To celebrate the Day of Peace, we have decided to join Peace and Poland, as this is the city where we will have our next mobility.
This year was the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II and the liberation of the concentration camps. Bearing in mind that Poland was one of the countries most affected by this conflict, that Auschwitz was one of the most famous camps and that a person as important as Anne Frank was in it, we decided to work with all these elements to reflect with the children on all that was experienced.
We worked in a way that was adapted to each course in each class. At each class, a different level of detail was achieved, adapted to the needs and ages of the children. The activities are contained in theofficial blog of the project. Next, we show some work evidences with photos and videos. Our students made the flags of Poland and the other countries participating in our Erasmus Project. They were displayed in the joint school activity.

Alba and Carlota were very motivated by the topic and did some small research on World War II which they presented. These were presented to their classmates.
A big poster about the past and future of Auschwitz was made by pupils of 6th A.
The whole centre commemorated a celebration they do in Warsaw. One day the city is silent and paralyzed, while the sirens are heard in homage to the victims of the war. Each class group represented a collective of workers.

During the minute's silence a tune by Frédéric Chopin was played, as he was a Polish musician.
At the end, all the members of the activity, teachers, students and parents, gave a big applause in memory of the victims.
